Chip cards are cards that can be read or written without contact using suitable devices. This allows the guest to use their card conveniently and easily, as it can also be read through their clothing and pocket.
Non-contact data carriers consist of an antenna for data transmission and an integrated chip. They work purely passively and therefore do not require their own power supply (battery). They are read and written by the reader via an electromagnetic field.
